Hooking up a generator head to a gas motor? - northstar generators
I have a 5500-watt generator, the head of the North Star High recepticals electric. I want to (take me on a tractor mounted on a single platform, too). The instructions state to a 9hp motor recommend 11HP min with maximum size between 3540-3720 rpm. I have a 12HP garden tractor. If I use mathematics "depower" the motor is a 12HP engine 9hp the size of the roller should I use? Nothing else will matter when I make the tree-generator in the proper RPM? At the moment I think the power and torque of the motor issue. Thank you for your help!
